In our efforts to teach children wisdom, we wish to teach them how to wonder, and we try to give them experiences which inspire wonder and investigation. One way to go about doing this is through the study of creation, the physical and living world.
If you have not already heard about Home Science Tools, let me introduce you to what they have to offer. They are a home operation that sells science kits and supplies at very affordable prices! Recently, for our homeschool co-op, I purchased the owl pellet dissection classroom kit and 15 magnifying glasses. The order arrived quickly without problems, and the quality of all products was top-notch.
They also carry a wide variety of science curricula if you are searching for ideas.
The Homeschool Philosopher aims to provide students with information and links concerning all things classical and philosophical to aid them in their quest for wisdom through the study of history and academic philosophy from the Catholic perspective. In addition, we host Alecia Rolling's posts on German-English homeschooling and cross-posts to The Bosconian Review and the Schola Rosa Journal.
