The Brothers Grimm

Grimm Brothers' Children's and Household Tales (Grimm's Fairy Tales)

This is a website freely available to all and houses Grimm's Fairy Tales in both the English and German. These stories were compiled, translated, and classified by Professor D.L. Ashliman at University of Pittsburg. Such a valuable resource, I could not pass up sharing it on The Homeschool Philosopher. Household Stories by the Brothers Grimm is a recommended "Good Book" and is suggested for Kindergarten. I like to remind parents and students that Grimm's fairy tales are certainly meant to be read together, and many of them I would not recommend reading until the student is in junior or senior high. As always, parents, please read these stories before your children to prepare yourself for their questions. Many blessings and happy reading!
